Fora
Website & Mobile
for Allied Health Teams
Fora (formerly Ally Assist) is an online marketplace that connects people living with a disability to work with Allied Health Assistants (AHA*) and NDIS registered professionals (AHP*) for rehabilitation, treatment, and recovery therapy.
Fora prides itself on creating a world where every person and family living with a disability can access the products and services they need to be the healthiest, most vibrant version of themselves.
Design Process
Over the 2.5 weeks, I led UI Designer in a team of
12 outstanding designers and 1 project manager.
We conducted research, created personas, and user journeys and delivered high-quality wireframes and working prototypes to assist with redesigning the experience.
Problem Statement
Allied Health Professional, Scarlett, who feels frustrated about the quality of notes written by Allied Health Assistants like Tash, wants to see more detailed information in the progress notes but is experiencing trouble when communicating with Allied Health Assistants.
The Challenge
To help Allied Health Assistants produce high-quality notes of their disability clients.
Fora found a large proportion of Allied Health Assistants were producing low-quality progress notes of their clients. With the company going through a restructuring, they needed to begin mandating the sharing of progress notes between Allied Health Assistants and Allied Health Professionals as the ongoing communication moving forward.
Mobile Friendly
Based on research data, 70% of Assistants wrote their notes after each session, and our talented team dived into website mobile responsive. While matching the visual aesthetics of the website, the mobile responsive version aims to provide users with a quick client check and create a short note when necessary.
Note-taking process Refinement
Upgraded the note-taking platform using an Industry Standard SOAP note-taking structure, larger word limit, auto-save feature to draft note system with a new prompt guidance feature.
And provided intuitive design solutions throughout the platform.
Streamline of feedback
Created a streamlined and frictionless flow feedback system. This design solution aims to help AHPs provide informative guidance to AHAs, ensuring a higher standard of work. It also provides a one-platform solution to AHAs, receiving feedback on the Fora portal and providing detailed guidance and support from Fora, encouraging AHAs where exactly which areas they need to improve and allowing them to develop the quality of work.
